Cantor Kay Greenwald grew up in Southern California and attended Pomona College in Claremont, California.  She received her Master of Music degree from the Eastman School of Music and her Cantorial Ordination from the Hebrew Union College - Jewish Institute of Religion.  

Cantor Greenwald is a past president of the American Conference of Cantors.  She has served on multiple not-for-profit boards, including the Union for Reform Judaism National Board.  Cantor Greenwald currently serves as the Director of Placement for the American Conference of Cantors.  

Cantor Greenwald has always cared deeply about our environment.  Current events have inspired her to create this blog as a way to help each person along their own individual environmental activism journey.

Amanda Young Greenwald also grew up in Southern California.  She attended UCLA and is currently working on an MBA with an emphasis on Corporate Social Responsibility. Amanda is a firm believer in reduce, reuse, recycle, and she is all about DIY.

Cantor Greenwald's bio is longer than Amanda's bio because Cantor Greenwald is much older than Amanda.
